Ballarat Myotherapy provides provision of optimal care and management for muscle dysfunction. We specialise in manual therapy and are able to diagnose clients and treat their muscular and connective tissue injuries.

Kate Hassell (Clinic Owner)
Kate completed her three year Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy at RMIT university in 2004, and is fully accredited as an I.R.M.A Myotherapist. Shortly after graduating Kate attained certification as a Clinical Pilates instructor through Dance Medicine Australia.
Kate is passionate about Myotherapy and the benefits this relatively new form of therapy can provide to her patients. Her dedication to patient health care has lead to ongoing professional development, in particular further studies into the treatment and management of neck pain & dysfunction and associated headache, jaw (TMJ) pain & (TMJ) dysfunction. All patients can benefit from Private Health fund rebates. Myotherapy is also approved by WorkCover and Comcare

Kellie Heath - Myotherapist
Kellie completed her VCE Studies in Ballarat along with her Diploma of Remedial Massage at the Australian College of Massage, all in 2010. After completing her Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage (Myotherapy) at NMIT in 2012, Kellie relocated back to Ballarat to begin working as an I.R.M.A accredited Myotherapist. She looks forward to furthering her career at the Ballarat Myotherapy Clinic and is excited to treat the Ballarat region for their musculoskeletal conditions.

Emma Quayle – Reception
Emma has recently started at Ballarat Myotherapy Clinic part time, working on reception. She qualified as a Remedial Massage Therapist as she finishes studying Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Myotherapy) at the Southern School of Natural Therapies. Emma has completed clinical experience at Bendigo Myotherapy Clinic as well as working alongside several sporting teams both in Melbourne and Ballarat. She is also currently the sports trainer for the Ballarat Football Netball Club and has been for the last 4 years.
